About Cactus Swag Entertainment
George Jacobsen
Born in rural Storrs, Connecticut in 1982, George has been obsessed with music since he can remember. He began playing saxophone at age 10 and soon his father bought him his first drum set. It wasn't long until George began playing in bands and developing his sound. Everything changed for him one day when he saw his first Roland MC303 at the music store. After he took it home he began experimenting with the sounds. Experimenting with the sounds evolved into composing music. Soon George felt the need to record his work and he purchased his first 4 track recorder. By age 14 George was recording himself as well as other musicians in his parents' basement. It was at this time that the sound of rap and hip hop would come into play and influence everything he created. With turn tables, mixer, microphone, MC303 and a 4 track recorder, George was composing his new music along with producing others'. At the age of 19 George moved to Tempe, Arizona where he began producing music for local hip hop talent and began work on his first album titled "Phoenix Phelony". Along with music production George became a mortgage broker and real estate investor. Currently George lives in San Diego, California. He produces music via Pro Tools with a mix of live instruments, electronic synthesizers, sampling from vintage records and other media. By blending all of these elements together George gives his music a truly unique and unforgettable sound. He has begun work on his second album titled "Dul Roar" and anticipates its completion by June of 2010.
Tastic
Cabbage Patch Radio
Born in Evanston, IL in 1986, raised by a single mother he had to become a man on his own. Always having a love for music, Tastic was highly influenced by Tupac, Biggie Smalls, Jay-Z, and even oldies such as Marvin Gaye and Curtis Mayfield. After having developed a strong passion for music, he began making mix tapes and creating beats within minutes trying to perfect his vision. As years went on he then created a production label named Love Money Productions in the year 2005. He added artists to his team; all with different sounds and unique styles. He created a group that craved making hit music as much as he did. Tastic is the CEO / producer / writer / artist within this label & he works with artists daily building his team & networking around the U.S. Not many people are as talented as Tastic is when it comes to music and handling it as a business. By doing what he loves, he CAN mix business with pleasure and that is why he is looked at as one of the best producers from the north side of Chicago. He has an ear for good music and is all about business. Tastic has produced and released numerous mixtapes & albums for underground artists, but he has Bigger N Badder the mixtape which is highly anticipated from many fans in the Chicago land area. While most producers learn towards their personal style when creating beats, Tastic's beats vary from genres such as pop, southern style, techno, even reggaeton, while still adding his personal touches. If you need hot beats that compete with industry standards, Tastic is the one person you should be contacting. With his ongoing growth and knowledge of the music industry, he can and will only get better with time.
